Idk how to tell y'all this, but

• Y'all can’t call out POC cosplayers for cosplaying gems, because gems have no race, they’re aliens
• That fact aside, you cannot deny that some gems are purposefully written and drawn as having characteristics of non-white races, so this needs to be kept in mind when humanizing
• Probably shouldn’t say anything about them cosplaying white characters either because you guys have been appropriating them and their culture and their characters in everyday life soooo
• The gems are not–I repeat, NOT– Women?? They have no concept of gender, they just use she/her pronouns by default
• They are, however, fully grown and matured, so shipping gems with Steven is icky and yucky
• Especially his family???
