I’m only 5 episodes into Hannibal but the thing I love most is that it starts out bonkers opposite to every other “guy with Problems Disorder solves crimes the police cant” TV show. Like in Psych or something the protagonist presents reasonable evidence and the person in charge will go “:/ sounds nice but unfortunately I don’t believe you” whereas Will Graham will lick the asphalt at the scene of the crime and b like “The killer ate this woman’s tendons because he wanted to experience the feeling of running through a field of freshly budded coneflowers. We’re looking for a tetraplegic who lost his mother as a child” and the FBI dudes are like “ah shit he’s prolly right”
