i am BEGGING YOU to go listen to “love like you” after watching the SU finale and pretend it’s steven talking about… well, everybody else. i swear, i don’t understand how this song fits so well in a thousand different scenarios and relationships between characters, but it does. i don’t know what rebecca was thinking about when she wrote it, but she surely did something right. funny how it’s like… THE steven universe song, and it’s not about anything specific. it’s just about love and self-consciousness, and wanting to be better. i love it.
